Shokz, the company known for producing industry-leading open-ear headphones, announced two new models during CES 2025. The OpenFit 2 and OpenMeet headline the company’s CES presence, offering upgraded features and new concepts.
OpenFit 2T true wireless open-ear headphones
The OpenFit 2 are true wireless open-ear headphones, debuting with upgrades to connectivity, comfort, battery life, and functionality. Most notably, the OpenFit 2 boast 11 hours of continuous battery life and up to 48 hours with the charging case. In comparison, the first-generation OpenFit had seven hours of continuous battery life and up to 28 hours with the charging case.

Shokz added a multifunction button to the OpenFit 2, allowing more intuitive control of the earbuds’ functionality. According to Shokz, the OpenFit 2 sport upgraded internal audio components, offering deeper lows, more transparent mids, and crisper highs for a more enjoyable listening experience.
The OpenFit 2 are available to purchase for $179.95 starting today in Black and Beige.
OpenMeet headphones for working professionals
Shokz also unveiled a new product in the company’s latest product category: the OpenMeet headphones. These headphones are aimed at working professionals who use headsets with microphones in their day-to-day work. Shokz asserts that the OpenMeet headphones’ open design allows for more connection among workers traditionally disconnected from the world when they wear their headsets at work.

Additionally, Shokz aims to address the low levels of comfort associated with most call headsets by implementing TitaniumFlex, a material that makes the OpenMeet flexible and comfortable yet durable and sturdy. Most working professionals wear headsets throughout the entire workday, and the OpenMeet, according to Shokz, sports a five-point pressure-free design for all-day comfort.
Dual microphones enhance noise reduction to maintain call quality, while the OpenMeet’s open-ear design encourages the wearer to stay in tune with their surroundings. This open design should eliminate the need to take off your headset to talk to colleagues in the office or converse with family at home. The OpenMeet headphones sport Shokz’s DualPitch technology, which combines bone and air conduction to reduce vibrations and enhance comfort.
