If you crack your Galaxy phone screen, you might be able to get it repaired in just a few hours at no cost.
Samsung Care+ is a service that provides technical support and protection for your Galaxy devices against theft, drops, spills, loss, and more. While most repairs come with a deductible, screen replacements are now free. In some cases, you’ll even be able to get your device fixed the same day. Even better, you get unlimited no-charge screen repairs.
New addition to coverage
In a recent email to Care+ subscribers, Samsung announced a new addition to its coverage: free screen repairs. “Effective January 15, 2025,” the message read, “Samsung and Samsung Care+ with Theft and Loss will be introducing ZERO DOLLAR SCREEN REPAIRS.” Samsung went on to explain that the coverage applies to damage that impacts the front screen or back glass.
This same repair under the old plan would have cost $29 each time.

Customers can either mail their device or visit a walk-in service location (find the closest one to you). Samsung’s site does warn that “Same-day screen repairs may be available for eligible devices in select areas,” so the same-day part of this deal might not be an option for everyone. Still, a no-cost repair is a solid offer.
The price for Samsung Care+ varies depending on your device and the protection you choose. With protection for theft and loss included, a monthly subscription for a phone is $8 to $18 depending on which tier it falls under (with newer phones under the higher, more expensive tiers). Tablets and watches range from $8 to $16 monthly.
If you choose to pay a one-time fee, it’s $129 to $349 for phones and $129 to $299 for tablets and watches. Removing theft and loss protection and just going with the basic Care+ plan saves about $5 a month or $100 for the one-time price.
