Petcube is officially expanding into animal wellness, as the pet technology company announced its solution to keeping your cats or small dogs hydrated. The company debuted its new water fountain at CES 2025, its first hydration solution designed to prioritize your pets’ health.

“With our water fountain, we’re moving beyond monitoring to actively improving pets’ health, starting with hydration—the foundation of well-being,” said Petcube CEO Anastasia Kukhar in the official press release.

“Our new fountain ensures water is not just clean—free from particles, chlorine, and pollutants—but it is also specifically designed to entice pets to drink more. Dehydration negatively impacts 10 million cats annually and we are strongly committed to bring that number down.”

The fountain is designed for cats or small dog breeds and ensures 100% purification for your pets’ water. The water is purified with a UV-C antibacterial light and a four-layer filtering system, promising easy cleaning and maintenance. It also has the option of a stainless steel or ceramic basin for an upcharge.

The pump is advertised as whisper-quiet with a motion sensor and has a dishwasher-safe tank that can last up to seven days. For those who hate clutter, the water fountain is conveniently cordless, with a battery and chew-proof cord that lasts up to twenty days. There is also an LED light that blinks status notifications, with an app to track filter change cycles.

The Petcube water fountain is available for preorder, with orders shipping on March 1, 2025.
