Apple released iOS 18.2.1 on Jan. 6, almost a month after the company released iOS 18.2. While iOS 18.2 brought more Apple Intelligence features, like Genmoji, to some iPhones, iOS 18.2.1 includes some important bug fixes for all iPhones. Apple recommends everyone download the update.
You can download the update by going to Settings > General > Software Update, tapping Update Now and following the prompts on your screen.
