The purple group in Connections: Sports Edition is especially tough today, if you’re an American, that is. I’ve heard of some of the clues in this category, but I don’t know them well enough to sort them properly, so today was a tough one for me. For now, the game is in beta, which means the Times is testing it out to see if it’s popular before adding it to the site’s Games app. You can play it daily for now for free — and then we’ll have to see if it sticks around.
